Feel Well salve utilizes a blend of essential oils that work together synergistically to offer some major immune boosting capabilities. Based on the story from around the 15th century when the Bubonic Plague was rampaging Europe and Asia, there was said to be four robbers who were pillaging the infectious dead bodies of plague victims, but who never caught the plague themselves. When caught and faced with sentencing they agreed to share their secret in hopes of a reduced sentence. They disclosed their herbal knowledge and preparation secrets.  In 1997, Weber State University did a study that found this combination of essential oils to have a 99.96% success rate at killing airborne bacteria. The aroma is herbal and spicy! Applying Feel Well salve can be convenient to use before school, work or play to help defend against cold and flu. A quick massage across the bottoms of feet is all it takes to make a difference. The versatility of this salve is also great as an anti-microbial hand sanitizer, for bug bite relief, cold sores and wound care. Just apply to the affected area for relief and specific healing or protection (i.e. to the chest if you have a chest cold, to the nose and sinuses for a head cold, directly to a viral rash, etc.).

The clove and cinnamon bark can be spicy and are considered “hot oils” which is what makes them effective anti-viral and anti-bacterial oils. They attack the cell walls of bacteria and viruses to degrade them. So for use on children, just take care. This blend is a safe dilution for adult use, but for use on kids (especially those with sensitive skin) you may need to blend a small amount of additional coconut or olive oil with the immunity salve.

At the first sign of a cold, apply to the balls of feet every 3 hours.

Shelf life is approximately 10 to 12 months.

Remember, coconut oil will melt at 76 degrees, store in a cool place for best results.
